Rocket Stove Cooker

3 day workshop covering how to build a Rocket Stove

Join myself and Kirk (Donkey) Mobert for a 3 day deep dive into learning about Rocket Stoves.
In this workshop we will be building a Rocket Cook Stove, the next addition to our wood fired kitchen.  While this version of a Rocket Stove uses similar technology as a more traditional  Rocket Mass Heater (RMH), it is specifically designed for cooking rather than heating. Rocket stoves are a type of masonry heater, built with simple, affordable, accessible materials and techniques.  The one we will be building in this course will be built with earthen building techniques, including both cob and adobe.  Rocket Stoves create an environment where the combustion is extremely hot, creating a very efficient, very clean burning stove.  In this workshop we will cover theory and delve into how the rocket stove works, as well as hands-on experience building one.
